who are you anyway?
and what, if we remember your name?
what will it mean to you
cold in the grave?
warm in your palace
with all you are worth.
but now you are cold
in the earth.
oh ladybird, ladybird,
fly away home.
your house is on fire,
your children are gone,
and all of your dreams,
they came true.
and all of your dreams
died with you.
who are we anyway?
and what, if they remember our name?
what will it mean to us
cold in the grave?

Singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, Chelsea Wolfe’s plaintive voice is the centerpiece of all of these chillingly bleak tunes. Watery, sliding orchestration suits the misty and dark environment that she evokes throughout. Unflinchingly stark, the recording suitably ends with a storm. Nickie Harte Kelly
Inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, the latest from Erik Gundel is the best kind of sensory overload, full of sizzling electronics. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2022
